Queen Elephantine, 8XI08 Live In Brooklyn

We're very honoured to have a live cdr/cassette released by the great French label Ruralfaune / Faunasabbatha.

The artwork is done by Emil Tibell. The show was on November 8, 2008 at the Meat Wallet. The documentary "Such Hawks Such Hounds" was screened and also playing that night were Naam, Weird Owl, and Bad Dream. The show was put together by Tiffany Ang and Death By Drone. Many thanks to everyone.

The awesome UK print/audio/video zine Bad Acid features an interview on Queen Elephantine as well as mp3s of the two-track, 60-minute master of Kailash which was released on cassette by Abandon Ship Records last year. Thanks to Dave, Harry, and everyone else and all the bands involved.

Kailash will be released on CD (7 track, 71 min) in April on Concrete Lo Fi Records, and it is already available digitally on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, Amazon, etc.

Clutter did two shows this week, Pissed Jeans

A four hour set Monday at the North 4 Bar in Williamsburg, and yesterday at the R Bar on Bowery.

Brett and I are working on working out a Clutter release on CLF.

Album of the day is Pissed Jeans' King of Jeans.

This band had been recommended to me a few years back, but I never really got into it. Their third album King of Jeans might have done the trick. I've just given it a single listen, but this is great-- feels like Black Flag meets Harvey Milk to me.
